Through the breathing of yoga and its gentle movements, a deep communication with oneself takes place. The ancient yogis had a deep understanding of human nature and knew exactly what man needed to live in harmony with himself and his environment. In yoga, all the movements needed to maintain physical health are combined with breathing and meditation exercises. This creates a harmony of body, mind and soul.

Yoga positions train every part of the body, stretch and strengthen muscles and joints, the spine and the bone skeleton. They affect not only the external shape of the body, but also the internal organs, glands and nerves by keeping the whole system healthy. Solving physical and mental tensions, they awaken amazing energy reserves.

Rakesh Nanda was born in India into a family where yoga and Ayurveda have been practiced for generations. Since 1983, he has passed on various yogic relaxation techniques, which he inherited from his father and great-grandmother, in his courses and lectures.
