Lake Tristach

The only bathing lake in East Tyrol is located near Lienz, about 25 km from the Strasserwirt –
accessible by car or bike. The popular swimming lake is a true natural jewel and is located at the foot
of the Lienz Dolomites (approx. 4 km from Lienz). Lazing on the lake shore, refreshing in the pleasant cool.

Water:

  • May and June: to 21 °C July and August: up to 24 °C

Opening hours:

  • End of May to beginning of September daily from 9 a.m. to 7 p.m.

Tip:

Combine a visit to the seaside resort with a previous hike to the Karlovy Vary Hut, here you can park at the Dolomites Hut and after your return at the parking lot it is still 5 minutes to the bathing lake. An unforgettable summer day in the Dolomites is assured!
