Succulent alpine meadows, barren mountain ranges, countless possibilities for hikes in various forms, light and enjoyable or even challenging, depending on your skill and assessment. All this is offered by the diverse nature here south of the Alps framed by the Lienz and the South Tyrolean Dolomites.
A special highlight is certainly the Carnic High Trail. All hikes have been awarded the “Mountain Trails Seal of Quality”.
A visit to the famous Three Battlements – Unesco World Natural Heritage must of course not be missing during a Strasserwirt holiday.

We have tour suggestions as well as basic equipment on backpacks, thermos cans and mountain jauss for you.
Guided tours with Irmi are also held in loose order.
The Tourist Board also organises a
guided hike into the Villgratental, Carnic Ridge
or into the Sesto Dolomites.
