Mushroom & Berry collecting

Collecting natural resources is one of the oldest occupations of mankind.

Summer and autumn (July – September) are the seasons to collect wild mushrooms and berries.
We are happy to help you with valuable tips for the correct handling of the different varieties
and in storing their collected treasures until your departure.

Native mushroom species: porcini mushroom, parasol, chanterelles, men’s mushroom.
Local berry species: blackberries, raspberries, cranberries, blueberries, elderberries

Allowed is (ac. to Tyrolean Mushroom Ordinance):

The collection and transportation of wild mushrooms
in the time from 7-19 o’clock in a quantity of max. 2 kg per day/person
