Tyrolean Jacobs Trail

Santiago? It is in Spain and not in Tyrol! Where does the Way of St. James actually begin?
Has the Apostle Jacob made a pilgrimage on this journey, or why is he called the Way of St. James?
What should I do on this path?

Through the Carinthian Drautal, the Way of St. James leads to Lienz and on to Innichen, Bruneck and finally north of Brixen into the Eisack Valley in the Puster Valley. There it flows into the Way of St. James, which rises from the south.
