The Hochpustertal Ski Centre is considered the Sun and Snow Dorado of East Tyrol. The Sillianer Hausberg boasts 55 km of perfectly groomed slopes and ski huts full of East Tyrolean cosiness. Pleasure skiers, families, freeriders and boarders make long turns on pistes away from mass operation, which show themselves in top shape throughout the winter due to the altitude (1,100-2,400 m) and the largest snowmaking facility in East Tyrol. Waiting times are unknown here – the subsidy is 10,000 people. The Yellowsnow Funpark is right next to the mountain station of the gondola lift. Winter in all its diversity can be experienced in the Alta Pusteria Valley. Its three family-friendly ski resorts, most notably the Hochpustertal ski centre in Sillian, offer comfort and wide slopes without waiting for the lifts. Kids come to the Hochpustertal in the children’s club “Bobo” for their personal winter fun.
